Sauteed Cumin Carrots

This is a super easy way to make some warm winter carrots. They are delicious on salad or as a side dish!


1 bunch carrots
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
pinch of salt


Cut carrots into 1/4 inch coins (no need to peel them first).  Saute them over medium-high heat with the butter or olive oil.  Once the carrots start to soften a bit, add the cumin and saute for two minutes more.  Serve warm or at room temperature.
