Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a subscription-based model of buying food directly from a local farm. Members sign up in advance and then receive a weekly share of our farm’s harvest. We have been operating our CSA since 1992, feeding countless families throughout Northern California.

Joining our CSA is a powerful way to support local farmers like us and get your family excellent-tasting food that you can trust. In addition to receiving fresh, local produce, by becoming a member of our CSA, you are also joining with others to support our farm and our goals of a stronger, healthier, more sustainable agricultural food system and environment.

Full Belly chooses what goes into the boxes from a wide variety of produce grown on the farm. The produce you receive changes with the season and represents what’s abundant at the farm. See the list of what we grow, and when we harvest it, here. You will get your favorite fruits and vegetables as well as new things to try. Every box is accompanied by a newsletter featuring several recipes and tips for using and storing the produce you’ve received. You can see the produce in this week’s box here.

We only have one box size, and are not able to substitute produce. However, you can add on additional items from our web store, such as nuts, eggs, jam, meat, flour, seasonal produce, herbs, and more.

It depends on how much you cook at home and how many fruits and vegetables you eat. In general, CSA members have reported that a weekly box of fruits and vegetables can feed a family of 2 to 3.

You pay in advance for the boxes you will receive, and the price of each box depends on how many boxes you order. We require an order to be for at least 4 boxes and the price per box decreases if you order 12 or more boxes, with an additional price decrease if you pay for a whole year of boxes (48) in advance. Most people pay for 4 boxes at a time ($108) or 12 boxes ($306).

No! When you place an order for your CSA box, you get to specify a schedule that works for you. Most CSA members receive their boxes weekly, but many get boxes every other week, or another frequency.

We deliver CSA boxes Tuesday through Saturday. Your CSA box can be picked up in the following cities, with several locations often available in each city:

Tuesday: Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Guinda, Oakland, Sacramento

Wednesday: Berkeley, Davis, Esparto, Oakland, Orinda, Piedmont, Sacramento, San Francisco, Woodland

Thursday: Guinda, Mill Valley, Oakland, San Geronimo, San Rafael, Suisun City

Friday: Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Oakland, Pinole

Saturday: Danville, Fremont, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sacramento, San Leandro, San Carlos

When you place your order for boxes, you will be able to view the approximate location of the sites as well as pick-up times and dates. Many of our sites are private homes, so we do not make the exact address available until we process your order.

We do not offer home delivery, as of June 2026.

Home delivery in the San Francisco Bay Area is available through Good Eggs. Boxes are ordered through Good Eggs, not Full Belly Farm.

As long as you let us know at least a few days in advance, you can skip a week (meaning we move the box to the end of your schedule, or the day of your choice) or donate your box.

Yes! We have flowers from April through the end of September and CSA members can sign up for a full season of flowers, flowers just on dates that they request, or any interval in between.
