Farm Box Donation

With the help of our members, the Full Belly CSA program has been donating CSA boxes to various community groups since 1992. The generous contributions and volunteer effort of our CSA members make this program possible. CSA members can include a food donation when paying for boxes, or can donate a box when going on vacation. When CSA members donate a box, the value of the box goes into our Good Food Community Fund, and we use this fund to set up donation boxes for organization and to subsidize CSA boxes for individuals.

One of the groups that gets donations is the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, a nonprofit women’s clinic that serves low-income, underserved, and immigrant San Francisco Bay Area women with cancer. The Clinic provides free therapies such as acupuncture, bodywork, herbal medicine, homeopathy, energy healing, movement therapy, and nutrition consultation. They receive five of our CSA boxes each week for their clients. For more information about the Clinic, view this video and their brochure of services.

The Good Food Community Fund can subsidize CSA box payments on a sliding scale based on need. The CSA subsidy is available on a short-term or long-term basis, provided that funds are available. Email csa@fullbellyfarm.com or call (800) 791-2110 to discuss.
