Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

CSA member Pam sent in this recipe and says “this is our favorite asparagus recipe”


1 bunch asparagus
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar


Heat your oven to 450 degrees. 

Roast asparagus (chopped or whole) with salt and a little olive oil for 10-14 minutes until it's as done as you desire. Timing will depend on asparagus thickness and personal preference.

While asparagus are roasting, in a saucepan, melt and brown the butter (careful not to let it burn). Add the soy sauce and balsamic and stir. (It will sizzle a little.) 

Remove the sauce from heat and drizzle over roasted asparagus.
