Simple Creamed Greens

ingredients

1 bunch chard or other greens, washed and sliced or torn up

2 tablespoons of butter

2-3 stems of green garlic or fresh onion, diced

Salt, pepper

1/4 - 1/3 cup cream

instructions

Melt the butter in a heavy pan and add the green garlic or onion.  Cook the garlic/onion until tender and add your greens. Toss them in the pan and cook until wilted.  If there is a lot of liquid in the pan, bunch the greens to one side, press out the liquid and pour it off.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  When the greens are cooked as you like them, pour in the cream.  Cook it down until the cream has thickened.
