Wool for Sale

Organic Wool Yarn

Full Belly yarn is from our organically raised sheep. The colors are all natural with the wonderful softness coming from the blend of our breeds. We raise Rambouillet, Lincoln, Suffolk, and Merino sheep. No toxic dyes have been used.

The yarn is washed and spun at Green Mountain Spinnery in Vermont where the workers take care that all processes are organic.

We have 3- ply yarns. Each skein weighs four ounces with approximately 250 yards of yarn. We will send you samples at your request.

We can ship UPS to you directly or deliver to your CSA drop site.

If you would like more information, including wool prices and UPS shipping costs, email us at belly@fullbellyfarm.com, or call us at 530-796-2214.

Natural Sheepskins

Full Belly sells beautiful all natural sheepskins. No dyes have been used and the skins have been washed and dried through a gentle, natural process. These skins have a great smell and are unbelievably soft to the touch. They are great for small children to lie on. The skins can be machine washed with mild soap, gentle cycle. They make a great gift for others or a special treat for you!

The sheepskins can be used

  • As car seat covers to keep you warm in winter, cool in summer
  • To keep your feet warm
  • As meditation or yoga mats
  • Draped over your favorite, cozy reading chair
  • As blankets
  • For sheepskin clothing projects

The sheepskins come in white, brown and grays. Each one is different. Email us or call us at 530-796-2214 for additional information.

Organic Roving For Spinning

We also make roving from our sheep’s wool. This is pre-carded wool, all ready for those who want to do their own spinning. It comes in sliver “ropes,” in all-natural colors of white and brown. This roving also works really well for weaving thick rugs. Email us or call us at 530-796-2214 for more information.
