In addition to being packed with antioxidants, figs also have high levels of vitamins A, E, and K. If your figs seem to have gone past, dry them in the sun! Dried figs provide a concentrated source of nutrients and minerals, such as calcium, copper, potassium, iron, and zinc. Figs should be eaten as soon after you get them, but can be kept in the refrigerator, in your paper bag, for 2- 3 days.
